Clubs & Liquor:
It may surprise you, but it's not much harder to get a drink in Utah than most other states. With more liquor licenses per capita than any place else in Utah, Park City makes it especially easy. See a list of bars and private clubs in Park City as well as Utah Liquor Laws.

Venues for some of the local clubs in t major concerts and sporting events or entertainment at smaller venues in both the Park City and Salt Lake City area, only about one-half hour away.

Shows & Concerts:
The closest theatre in Park City, The Cinemark Holiday Village 4 Cinemas, is across from Park Avenue Condominiums in the shopping center with Albertsons. A larger theater near the Interstate and Kimball Jct. is Redstone 8 Cinemas. Theaters less than a half hour away include several in the Salt Lake area. In addition, the Park City film series is held on weekends at nearby a school located at 1255 Park Avenue - on the way into town. In town, at 328 Main Street, the historic Eqyptian Theatre has live plays. Next to the Park City High School on Kearns Blvd. Eccles Center has live entertainment.

Also don't forget major concerts and sporting events or entertainment at smaller venues in the Salt Lake City area, only about one-half hour away.

If you want to watch a video, Blockbuster, (next to Rite Aid drugstore and across from Park Avenue Condos), has a great selection.

During the summer (July 10 - Aug 7), check out the Park City Music Festival (July & October), Park City Jazz Festival (August) and the Deer Valley Music Festival (July&August). Year round, there is also the the Utah Symphony in Salt Lake.

Kids Stuff:
If you need some care for your children in Park City, there are several child care services to choose from. During the ski season, there are special ski school Children Programs at Park City, Deer Valley and The Canyons. During busy periods (e.g. Christmas & New Year's weeks, Presidents & MLK weekends, Sundance & spring break) it's smart to line up reservations in advance. (Also see Local Ski Areas.)
