Air Service:
Public air service to most Utah ski areas and resorts, including Park City and nearby Dear Valley and The Canyons, is normally into Salt Lake City (SLC) airport. Since there are direct flights from most major cities to the SLC airport and all major ski areas are within an hour drive, it is one of the most convenient mountain resort destinations in the U.S. (Please see direct non-stop domestic
air times between major cities and Park City.)

A local air field that accommodates private aircraft including small jets is Heber Valley Airport located in Heber City. This airport is less than one-half hour from Park City.

Public Ground Transportation:
Park City is one of the easiest resorts to access in the Wasatch Mountains. From SLC airport, it is only about 35 miles away and a 45-minute drive via Interstate 80, a freeway widened to three lanes in each direction in 1999. There are several bus, van, taxi and limo services available between the Salt Lake City (SLC) airport and Park City. Transportation is usually available from the airport at least hourly, but varies by the season and time of day. Rates start about $20 one-way. From the airport, advanced reservations are not necessary, but helpful. From Park City reservations are required, ranging from a couple hours to a day in advance.

Park City Bus Service:
The Park City shuttle bus is free all year long. There are bus stops at both entrances of Park Avenue Condominiums; the nearest to the condo is at the main entrance. This stop is on a main bus route with service as frequently as every 10-minutes during the winter season. The shuttle has only 1 stop before reaching Park City Mountain Resort; it is a short distance from the town of Park City (about a mile away), Deer Valley (2.3 miles away), and The Canyons Ski Resort (about 3 miles away). See the Park City
bus map.

Car Rentals:
All major car rental agencies are available at the SLC airport, and there are some regional and local companies located off-site. (Tip: One of the best rates is via Advantage Car Rental.) Since Salt Lake often accommodates large conventions, it is recommended that car reservations be made in advance.

There are a few car rental companies in Park City, but Budget Car Rental is the only national firm. (Please see a list of local car rental firms.) Renting a car in Park City is usually more expensive than in Salt Lake.

Parking:
Parking around the historic district requires a fee by using pay boxes that spit out a coupon that needs to be put on the dash of your car. Please also
see area maps for Park City and the townhome. There are also private garages that have free or reduced rates for validated parking receipts. Please see a parking map of Park City.
