Weather:
The Weather in Park City has a tremendous variety. Winters are known for "Champagne Powder" which can begin as early as late September. However, significant accummulation may not occur until November, but may last through April. Summers are usually mild with low humidity and high temperatures in the mid 70's or 80's and lows in the mid 40's to 60's. Since there is greater warming in the lower elevations in the valleys around Park City than the mountains in the late spring and fall, golf is usually available in the Park City area from about May through October.

Find out a Park City 5-day forecast, courtesy of Weather.com. You may also want to review the Salt Lake City forecast, which can often be somewhat different. Since mountain weather conditions can be difficult to predict, be sure to be prepared with suntan lotion and a variety of clothing.

Another good way to learn about weather conditions is to view a couple of the video monitors or "cams" in Park City. Look at Park City Ski Area or both the Park City Town and Resort.

Utah Ski Conditions:
Utah ski areas usually begin to open in November and most close in mid April. A couple areas like Snowbird, however, can stay open into May and even later. If you need to obtain ski conditions, check out reports from
OnTheSnow, Park City Resort and Utah.com. The Park Avenue Condominium on-site rental office usually posts current ski conditions for the local ski areas. You may also want to check the conditions from the local cable channel, specific Web sites or phone numbers for the ski area in which you are interested. (See Local / Other Ski Areas.)
